Nestled in a tranquil setting at the base of majestic book cliff mountains, named after Kenilworth Castle by British miners, Kenilworth is considered an "occupied ghost town", still sporting a population of about 180 people. In its coal mining heydays in 1947, Kenilworth reached its peak population of 1,050. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home features an open floor plan that maximizes space and comfort, offering all the modern amenities you need for a delightful stay. The Space: Historic Charm: Built in 1920, our cabin retains its original stone foundation and rustic character, giving you a true taste of the area's mining history. Open Floor Plan: The seamless design of the living, dining, and kitchen areas creates a spacious and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and socializing. Living Area: Relax on the comfortable sofa, which pulls out to a queen size bed, enjoy a movie on the flat-screen Smart TV, or unwind with a good book in front of the electric fireplace. Fully Equipped Kitchen: Cook up your favorite meals in the well-appointed kitchen, featuring modern appliances, a dining table for four, and all the cookware and utensils you need. *We welcome WELL BEHAVED dogs! We have cozy beds, food & water dishes, treats, poop bags, and a scooper. The pet fee is $15/night for 1 dog and $10/night for each additional dog. Payment is requested right after booking. The yard is NOT fenced in so pets must be leashed while outside and may not be left alone inside the home. Remember this is a tiny home so 2 dogs maximum please.

Our tiny home is perfect for a small family or couples. Due to its size, it may not be suitable for larger groups. Guests have full access to the entire home and outdoor areas. We provide a self-check-in process for your convenience. PLEASE NOTE: *We have one neighbor that is a "collectors" of many items. They are super nice! Please look past their overflow of vehicles and such. *To conserve water, we allow a wild high desert landscape. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN ACCESSING THE FIREPIT! There is a slight hill and the rock steps can be wobbly.
